WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll be part of Bain's global Creative Services team—a group of expert designers that transforms complex ideas into powerful visual communications. Our team supports internal stakeholders and client teams around the world with high-impact presentation design, storytelling, and data visualization. You'll collaborate closely with business leaders, content owners, and other designers to deliver work that drives clarity, insight, and engagement.

WHERE YOU'LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM

As a Senior Designer, you'll play a key role in leading projects, overseeing creative execution, and coaching junior designers. You'll bring structure, visual clarity, and strategic design thinking to high-stakes client deliverables—ensuring all outputs meet the highest quality standards. This is a senior individual contributor role designed for experienced designers who are ready to lead cross-functional design projects without direct people management responsibilities.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Design high-quality, fast-turnaround presentations and visual content in line with Bain and client brand standards
  • Guide layout, storytelling, and visual structure across a variety of print and digital design deliverables
  • Serve as a key design partner on high-visibility projects—translating stakeholder feedback into creative, effective design solutions
  • Oversee project timelines and priorities, coordinating with multiple designers to ensure cohesive execution
  • Provide coaching and feedback to more junior team members, supporting their development and contributing to team excellence
  • Actively model inclusive behaviors and a team-first mindset, contributing to a positive, collaborative culture
  • This role follows a hybrid model, requiring in-office presence at least 2 days per week.

ABOUT YOU

Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience in a design-focused role, ideally within a corporate or consulting environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing business presentations, data visualization, and compelling visual storytelling across formats
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to independently manage design streams within complex projects, including stakeholder management and creative oversight
  • Proven ability to coach others and support collaborative, high-quality outcomes
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in design, communications, or a related field

Nice to Have

  • Experience mentoring or overseeing junior designers (formally or informally)
  • Experience leading creative streams or small project teams
