Application Administrator II – Enterprise Systems, Reporting & Deployment

Application Administrator with experience supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise business applications and integrated systems across manufacturing, operations, and corporate IT environments. Proven ability to ensure application availability, performance, security, and data integrity, while aligning systems with business, operational, and reporting requirements.

Brings solid technical and development knowledge, enabling effective collaboration with development teams and deeper root-cause analysis. Hands-on experience with .NET (C#) to develop utilities, scripts, and unit tests that support application validation, automation, and operational efficiency. Working knowledge of TypeScript, enabling understanding and validation of web-based application components and service layers.

Possesses strong database and reporting expertise, with hands-on experience using Microsoft SQL Server. Demonstrated ability to read, design, and develop stored procedures to support operational reporting and analytics, including datasets for Power BI dashboards and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Skilled in query optimization, data validation, and troubleshooting reporting performance and data consistency issues.

Experienced in application testing, release, and deployment support, including development and execution of test plans, test cases, and regression testing for system enhancements, patches, and reporting changes. Familiar with application deployment processes, including environment promotion (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD), configuration management, and rollback procedures.

Possesses foundational knowledge of cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with exposure to core services used in application hosting, storage, monitoring, and identity management. Comfortable supporting cloud-hosted applications and understanding cloud-based architectures from an operations and administration perspective.

Familiar with CI/CD concepts and tooling, supporting automated build, test, and deployment pipelines. Understands the principles of continuous integration, continuous delivery, version control, and automated testing as part of modern DevOps practices. Able to work alongside DevOps and engineering teams to support pipeline execution, troubleshoot deployment issues, and ensure stable releases.

Provides effective production and reporting support, working closely with IT operations, developers, and business stakeholders to resolve incidents, support users, and maintain service levels. Experienced in supporting integrated systems, APIs, middleware, and data pipelines, ensuring reliable data exchange across platforms.

Actively contributes to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline deployment processes, improve reporting performance, and reduce operational overhead. Uses metrics, trend analysis, and root cause analysis to drive corrective and preventive actions.

Demonstrates a strong commitment to data governance, security, and compliance with corporate policies related to quality, safety, and information security. Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, enabling alignment across teams and stakeholders.
