Finance Manager

Finance ManagerDirect HireMonterrey, MexicoReports to Managing Director/or VP Finance NorthAmerica (Close collaborationwith Business Development, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, HR, and Purchasingat local and corporate levels.) Lead allFinance, Accounting, Tax, and Treasury functions for the companies Mexican manufacturing entity. Ensure full compliance with Mexican statutoryrequirements while delivering timely, accurate reporting and analysis forcorporate consolidation and business decision support.Act as Finance businesspartner to senior management and cross -functional leaders (Operations, SupplyChain, Sales, BD, HR, Purchasing).Own full accountingcycle and internal controls: general ledger, subledgers, fixed assets, leases,and inventory.Manufacturing costaccounting: maintain standard costs/BOMs/routings, perform cost rolls, analyzePPV/usage/labor/overhead variances, WIP/production order settlement, andinventory reserves.Execute monthly,quarterly, and annual closes under Mexican NIF (statutory) and align tocorporate reporting (e.g., IFRS/US GAAP) for consolidation; preparebridge/reconciliation as needed.Prepare budgets,forecasts (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet), and rolling outlooks; track KPIs(margin, WC, DSO/DPO/INV, inventory turns, scrap/variances).Oversee AP/AR, credit& collections, and cash application; ensure 3‑way match andvendor/customer master data controls.E -invoicing andcompliance: ensure timely issuance and reception of CFDI 4.0 (facturas,complemento de pago, nómina), and integrity of timbrado with PAC provider.Tax compliance: managemonthly/annual filings (ISR, IVA), withholdings, DIOT, informative returns,electronic accounting submissions (catálogo de cuentas, balanza; pólizas asrequired), and timely VAT refunds/compensations.Payroll andlabor -related compliance (in coordination with HR/payroll provider): CFDI denómina, IMSS, INFONAVIT, state payroll tax (ISN), PTU calculation/distribution,aguinaldo, vacation premium, and annual IMSS risk premium review.Transfer pricing andintercompany: maintain intercompany agreements, ensure Local File/Master Filecompliance, support safe -harbor/APAs if applicable, and manage withholdingtaxes on cross -border payments.Treasury: cashmanagement, cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, payment runs (SPEI),FX exposure monitoring/hedging within corporate policy.Inventory governance:cycle counts/physical inventories, reconciliation to books and (if applicable)customs pedimentos; manage obsolescence and excess provisions.Customs/IMMEX (ifapplicable): oversee compliance with IMMEX program, Annex 24/31 controls,pedimento traceability, VAT certification, and coordination with customsbroker/logistics.Fixed assets and CAPEX:capitalization policy, CIP tracking, depreciation, and post‑implementationreviews.Audits: coordinatestatutory and corporate audits; respond to SAT and social security/infonavitreviews and information requests.Continuous improvement:drive process standardization, automation, and data visualization; maintainFinance SOPs and strong segregation of duties and approval matrices.Administrative supportas needed: insurance renewals/claims, legal/notary coordination for statutorybooks and annual meetings. RequirementsBachelor's or Master'sdegree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Mexican Contador Público(licensure) strongly preferred; CPA/IFRS certification a plus.Minimum five years offinance/accounting experience in Mexico, including AP/AR, general accounting,tax compliance, and cost accounting/financial analysis; manufacturingenvironment required.Experience inmultinational settings and, if applicable, IMMEX/customs environment preferred.Prior teamleadership/supervisory experience.Strongknowledge of Mexican NIF and Mexican tax (ISR, IVA, DIOT, CFDI). Familiaritywith IFRS/US GAAP for corporate consolidation.Provenmanufacturing cost accounting expertise (standards, variances, WIP) andinventory control.Superioranalytical and critical thinking skills; ability to simplify complexity andinfluence decisions.AdvancedExcel; strong Office 365 user. Experience with data visualization (e.g., PowerBI) is a plus.ERPproficiency required (e.g., SAP/Oracle); experience with Mexico localizations(CFDI, electronic accounting) is a plus.Strongcommunication and stakeholder management in a fast -paced environment; bilingualSpanish/English required.Occasional travelwithin Mexico and to North America corporate locations may be required.
