Internship Description: The intern will support the development, training, and deployment of computer vision models. Working alongside data scientists and software engineers, the intern will build models for object detection, image classification, segmentation, and tracking for real-world applications.
Project Objective: Apply computer vision and machine learning tehcniques to solve a defined perception problem, while gaining jands-on experience on model development, evalutaion, and deployment pipelines.
Challenges for the Student:
Handling limited or imbalanced datasetsAchieving real-time inference speed while maintaining accuracy Managing data labeling quality and preprocessing pipelines.Main responsibilities and activities:
Assist in data collection, preprocessing, and annotation of images and video datasets. Train deep-learning and Gen-AI models for vision tasks using frameworks such as Pytorch. Evaluate model performance using metrics like IoU, precision, recall, and confusion matrices.Contribute to model integration into APIs.Document experiments, results, and key insights for team reports.Specific requirements, technical and soft skills:
