Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical EHS Coordinator to join our team in Monterrey, Mexico. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organization maintains the highest standards of environmental, health, and safety practices.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with local and international regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace
  • Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions
  • Provide EHS training to employees at all levels of the organization
  • Monitor and analyze EHS performance metrics, preparing reports for management
  • Collaborate with various departments to integrate EHS best practices into daily operations
  • Manage and maintain EHS documentation, including permits, safety data sheets, and training records
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in EHS regulations and industry best practices
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and represent the company during EHS audits and inspections
  • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings
  • Relevant EHS certifications (e.g., OSHA, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
  • In-depth knowledge of local and international EHS regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in EHS management systems and software platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations
  • Experience in developing and delivering EHS training programs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS-specific software
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement in EHS performance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management
