About the Project

We are seeking a Senior Umbraco 13 Developer to join a fast-paced CMS multisite implementation. You'll lead the creation of a new multisite instance on Umbraco 13 (.NET 8), collaborate on a UX refresh, and integrate USkinned components to ensure branding consistency and scalable content delivery.

This project includes redesigning key pages like the Homepage, Recipes, Recipe Listing, and Learning Pages using an existing component library.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure a new Umbraco 13 multisite instance with USkinned.
  • Implement content templates, document types, and multisite logic.
  • Execute a UX refresh on core CMS pages using custom ViewModels and USkinned components.
  • Integrate Brevo (Sendinblue) and Cookiebot for consent handling.

  • Develop and maintain:

  • SurfaceControllers and APIControllers

  • Custom Services, Repositories, Dependency Injection
  • ViewModels and presentation mappings
  • Configure Examine/Lucene indexes for enhanced search filtering.
  • Manage deployment on Azure App Service or IIS using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain quality and delivery velocity.
Must-Have Skills
  • 5+ years of experience in .NET development.
  • 1.5+ years of hands-on experience with Umbraco 13 and .NET 8.

  • Strong expertise in Umbraco CMS:

  • Multisite architecture

  • Document types, templates, compositions
  • Member and media management
  • Examine/Lucene search configuration

  • Experience with USkinned Site Builder:

  • Component customization

  • Site-specific branding logic
  • Solid knowledge of C# / ASP.NET Core (.NET 8).
  • Experience integrating third-party tools (e.g., Sendinblue, Cookiebot).
  • Skilled in CI/CD, Azure App Service, GitHub/Azure DevOps.
  • Comfortable working independently and communicating with clients.
