This Position reports to:

Production Engineering Manager

Your Role And Responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to leads the factory Maintenance team in the planning and implementation of initiatives that maintain and improve the reliability, effectiveness, and/or efficiency of equipment, technical infrastructure, production lines, and/or facilities. Each day, you will develop and implement equipment life cycle management procedures for optimizing costs and profitability. You will also showcase your expertise by developing and proposing improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Proposing and managing the annual maintenance budget by monitoring the costs and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and determining actions to cost issues as necessary.
  • Defining maintenance policies and processes that drive maximum efficiency of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
  • Developing and implementing life cycle management procedures for all new and existing equipment.
  • Determining maintenance plans for new production lines and recommends methods to improve reliability, ongoing maintenance, and safety of equipment, in collaboration with the Engineering department.

Qualifications For The Role (Mandatory)

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electromechanical, electrical, or related engineering field.
  • 4+ years of experience in similar maintenance coordinator roles.
  • Experience and knowledge of electrical substations, transformers, and distribution panels. Experience with medium and low voltage maintenance, as well as air compressors.
  • Experience with electrical processes and products.
  • Knowledge of PLCs and the ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams.
  • Experience in budgeting and budget management.
  • Experience tracking preventive and corrective maintenance, including downtime.
  • Experience with LOTO, MTTR, and MTBF.
  • Team management and personnel administration (vacations, time off, etc.).
  • Experience and knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
