Shop Floor Scheduler (P2) provides training and facilitates the incorporation of new resources. Analyze multiple variables such as line performance, high level head constraints, WO volume per type vs available lines, BOM errors, shortages, etc.) and provide alternative solutions same as changes to increase WO queue flow in the seek of improvement between Setup, Manufacturing, and line performance (Plan vs Actual and efficiency). Assigns daily kitting schedules and coordinates the flow of WO between Setup and Manufacturing, optimizing resources.

  • Trains and facilitates the new resources incorporation.
  • Provides feedback to improve the work order management between Setup and Manufacturing.
  • Review line performance (Plan vs Actual) and propose changes to increase flow on the WO queue.
  • Review open Work Orders completely picked to determine the daily production plan.
  • Coordinate with Set up parts delivery and with Production WO sequence to meet production schedule.
  • Ensure that Shop Floor Coordinators' urgent requests are expedited on the shop floor as required.
  • Utilize ERP system to review the status of manufacturing work orders when needed.
  • Notify the production team of any schedule impacts on customers.
  • Coordinate/expedite manufacturing builds to ensure schedules are achieved.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Experiencia y requisitos

  • Profesionista / Bachelor Degree: INGENIERIA / ENGINEERING ADMINISTRACIÓN / ADMINISTRATION
  • Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes,
  • Ability to interact well with internal and external customers
  • Basic knoladge of ERP or MRP software.
  • 2-4 years on similar role/function
  • English (advanced)
  • AS400
  • Lean manufacturing
