Sobre La Posición
We are looking for a Product Engineer - Mechanical Design to join the North America Electronic Systems Product Engineering team, reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager.

This position is based at our office in Aguascalientes, Mx.

As the Product Engineer - Mechanical Design at Marelli, you will play a critical role in designing and developing innovative mechanical solutions for our electronic products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality designs that meet customer specifications and industry standards.

Tus Responsabilidades Serán

• Design and Development: Create detailed mechanical designs for electronic products, ensuring compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer requirements. Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) for precise fits between components.
• Prototyping and Testing: Contribute with prototypes building and testing to validate design concepts, identify potential issues, and ensure functionality and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the other product engineering teams, software developers, and other team members to integrate mechanical designs with electronic and software components.
• Analysis and Simulation: Utilize CAD tools and simulation software to analyze and optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness. Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.

Qué Cualificaciones Traerás

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the electronic systems or automotive industry.
• Proficiency in using CAD software (Siemens NX or CATIA), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• English: fluent.
