About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Operating System Administrator / SAP BASIS Expert with deep hands-on experience supporting SAP landscapes across ABAP, Java, and Non-NetWeaver environments (Cloud & On-Prem). This role requires strong technical leadership, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to operate in a global, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee, administer, and optimize SAP systems across ABAP/Non-ABAP landscapes.

  2. Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities across business-critical systems.

  3. Implement and manage High Availabilitysolutions (Pacemaker, MS Clusters, HANA HSR).

  4. Perform SAP system performance tuning and advanced troubleshooting.

  5. Manage SAP certificates for NetWeaver & HANA environments.

  6. Support technical upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.

  7. Automate administration tasks using SAP Landscape Management.

  8. Monitor systems using SAP Solution Manager / Focused Run.

  9. Collaborate with global IT teams (Japan, China, India, Germany, US, Mexico).

  10. Ensure adherence to SLAs / OLAsand propose improvement measures.

  11. Lead or contribute to internal technical projects.

  12. Manage and mentor small to mid-sized teams.

  13. Work within ITILand SAFe (Agile)frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

  1. 10+ yearsSAP BASIS / OS Administration experience.

  2. Strong expertise across NetWeaver ABAP & Javaand HANA ecosystems.

  3. Experience with Cloud, On-Prem, and hybrid SAP environments.

  4. High Availability & DR expertise.

  5. Hands-on experience with SolMan/Focused Run monitoring.

  6. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  7. Ability to work independently and continuously learn emerging SAP technologies (HANA, Fiori, BTP, Cloud Connector, Mobility, etc.).
