What You Will Do
The role of Sourcing Buyer /Strategic Procurement Specialist/Sr. Specialist is to apply strategic expertise in the areas of purchasing to take GEP to the next level. This level will also manage and supervise the delivery services and assist in development of new services.

Responsibilities

  • Leading strategic sourcing and category management projects and activities
  • Identifying, developing and implementing process improvement ideas that drive improved efficiencies and cost savings
  • Meeting and exceeding all service level requirements and driving exceptional client satisfaction
  • Interacting with senior levels in client organizations
  • Strategic Client Management & Client Relationship Building
  • Coaching & mentoring of consultants
  • Firm building activities including recruiting, training, etc.
  • Participating in Firm Growth Strategy & Execution activities
  • Knowledge & Intellectual Capital building for the firm
  • Travelling to a client´s site as required
  • Recruiting Location: CDMX or GDL

Requirements
What you should bring

  • 6 years of Strategic Sourcing/Procurement experience
  • Experience in categories such as MRO, CAPEX, MRO, IT,
  • Solid procurement knowledge
  • Recruiting Location: CDMX or GDL
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Portuguese is a plus
  • Ability to lead and manage meetings
  • Experience in leading small and medium size projects and assignments
  • Ability to convert large amount of information into concise description
  • Ability to work in self-managed and team environments
  • Good record of interaction with customers
  • Good Presentation skills
  • Open to Travelling to client´s site up to 80% ir required
  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Exposure to Business Development is a PLUS
