Treasury Analyst

in México City.

The Role

We are seeking a
Treasury Analyst
to join our dynamic team in Mexico City. This role provides operational and administrative support to the Treasury department, ensuring accurate documentation, payment processing, and compliance with financial obligations. You will play a key part in managing cash flow and supporting strategic financial operations for our luxury hospitality investment projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate invoices, receipts, and authorizations prior to payment processing.
  • Prepare payment schedules and follow up on approvals.
  • Upload and verify payments in banking portals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support accounting entries and control of bank transactions.
  • Maintain updated control of pending invoices and supplier accounts.
  • Perform basic bank reconciliations and report discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly cash flow reports.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Accounts Payable, Accounting, Purchasing) to ensure smooth processes.
  • Contribute to documentation and improvement of Treasury procedures.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: 0–2 years in Treasury, Accounts Payable, or related areas.
  • Language: Intermediate English (B1/B2).
  • Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Financial Formulas).
  • Banking Platforms.
  • ERP systems.

    Ability to accurately review invoices, payment documentation, and banking transactions, ensuring precision and compliance with financial policies.
  • Organization and Process Management:
    Skill in managing multiple payment cycles, maintaining updated records, and following structured workflows to guarantee timely execution of treasury operations.
  • Confidentiality and Responsibility:
    Capacity to handle sensitive financial data and banking information with discretion, ensuring trust and integrity in all treasury activities.
  • Teamwork:
    Ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Accounts Payable, and other departments to ensure smooth payment processes and accurate reporting.
  • Proactivity:
    Initiative to anticipate treasury needs, identify discrepancies early, and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and control.
