Accounting Manager Full -Time Theposition is responsible to maintain financial accuracy for all plant processesand analyze all business trends and provide required explanations. TheAccounting Manager is in charge of the financial systems for all entities consolidatedinto the group and for preparation of accurate, timely and complete financialstatements based on company cut -offs and Corporate Accounting Guidelines. Thispositions closely supports the company leadership team and president to achievetheir goals and control cost and risk exposure.SystemsEnsure integrity of systems feeding the financial systems of thecompanyTakes measures and implements controls for proper cut -off on FinancialperiodsMaintains a running list of system issues and ensures they getaddressed in a timely and lasting mannerOrganizes system training as needed and appropriateLead contact for external auditorsProvides leadership for month end close and ensures financial deadlinesare met at all timesEstablishes guidelines (Financial and accounting guidelines) to provideguidance on accounting practices and to safeguard company assets, ensures thoseguidelines are followed Implements controls to avoid violations with corporate guidelines andUS GAAPEnsures relevant reserves and accruals are made in a necessary andconsistent mannerDetermines and implements controls for who has access to financialsystemsPrepares for and provides accurate, timely and complete financialstatements for ME and YE close.Develops and documents processes and procedures to ensure inventory isevaluated according to company guidelines and US GAAPWorks with material management to establish proper accounting andinventory control for subcontractor and ex -facility inventoryOversees all financial impacts of physical inventory conductEstablishes and maintains excess and obsolete inventory reserve fileEstablishes and documents policies and procedures to accurately accountfor fixed assets and related depreciationEnsures fixed asset dispositions are properly recordedDevelops and ensures FA projects follow capital approval andacquisition guidelinesManages annual fixed asset inventory processDevelops annual CAPEX budgetOwns and supports the purchasing effects report from a financial sidePerforms monthly variance and in -efficiency analysisSales, contribution and gross margin analysis on project levelPrepares Transfer price analysisTakes responsibility for company costing (standard cost following theGerman Herstellkostenverfahren) and ensures frequent cost audits and annualadjustments, documents company costing methodology in a policy.Performs inventory and cost variance analysis to provide in -efficiencyand non -conformance cost information to management Requirements · 10 plus years' experience in a controller role of a manufacturing organization.· Master's degree in Business and /or accounting· Cost accounting experience a plus.· Computer literate – strong EXCEL skills and the ability to effectively use Outlook, WORD and PowerPoint· Experience with SAP a plus· Experience providing guidance to finance and non -finance individuals· Strong sense of establishing companywide processes and internal controls
