We are looking for a highly skilled
Senior Data Engineer
to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with modern data engineering technologies such as
Scala, Spark, Databricks, Azure APIs, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
, as well as deep knowledge of
pipeline orchestration
,
data modeling
, and
performance optimization
.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • 5+ years
    of professional experience in Data Engineering.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Scala programming.
  • Deep expertise with Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
  • Extensive experience working with Databricks.
  • Experience using Azure APIs and Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data integration.
  • Solid understanding of pipeline orchestration tools and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, including dimensional and relational modeling.
  • Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems (preferably Azure).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job duties:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines.
  • Build and optimize large-scale data processing solutions using Scala and Apache Spark.
  • Develop and maintain workflows in Databricks, ensuring efficient data transformations and performance tuning.
  • Integrate and manage data solutions leveraging Azure APIs and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Implement pipeline orchestration best practices to ensure reliability, observability, and automation.
  • Design robust data models that support business intelligence, analytics, and operational workloads.
  • Conduct performance tuning and data optimization for large and complex datasets.
  • Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Document data workflows, architectures, and processes clearly and effectively.
