r DevOps Engine
er to help and support a data science team to move their machine learning MVP and POC from running in a development environment to a fully standalone API service in a production environment.

Key responsibilites:

  1. Architect, design, develop, and deploy DevOps flows to support a data science team.
  2. Actively contribute to the adoption of cloud architecture, development and engineering best practices, and new cloud technologies.
  3. Provide guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to development teams to build cloud competencies.
  4. Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance.
  5. Onsite presence in Central CDMX ˜1 day per week

Required Skills and Experience:

  1. 5+ years as a technical IC putting software into production.
  2. Proficiency in IaC and cloud technologies.
  3. Good understanding of the AWS ecosystem and Terraform.
  4. Proficient in CI/CD technologies and best practices for deploying software APIs and data pipelines to production.
  5. Proficient with Docker and best practices for creating new API services.
  6. Experience with Python package managers and Python testing frameworks.
  7. Experience with SQL and creating schedule data pipeline jobs that power other systems.

Desired Skills:

  1. Ideally, experience with Data Engineering, Machine Learning models, MLOps and AIOps (or interested in picking it up).
  2. Experience with GenAI technologies and RAG is a plus.
