Role

A Retail Manager at Amanvari, provides strategic oversight of inventory and consignment operations in full compliance with accounting standards, while curating an elevated, highly personalized boutique experience that reflects the highest standards of luxury, craftsmanship, and brand integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Being knowledgeable on background information on art pieces in the Boutique.

  • Ensuring that the physical appearance of the Boutique and all merchandise meet Amanvari standards.

  • Source local suppliers to complement AMAN offering according to the Aman Retail SOP.

  • Maintain positive collaborate relationship with all Retail stakeholders (hotel and corporate).

  • Maintain the Boutique merchandising pricing and stock levels and completing standard purchase requisition procedures for ordering.

  • Determine and evaluate the Boutique consignment items and pricing, maintaining consignment inventory records and preparing monthly invoices.

  • Keep the Boutique offerings updated and rotated to ensure guest satisfaction and increase revenues, according to the Aman Retail SOP

  • Work with Purchasing to ensure that timely and accurate shipping is completed on all guest or property shipments.

  • Work with brokers to submit necessary documents required for all overseas shipments and any orders that need custom clearance.

  • Annual renewal of necessary licenses.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Retail management.

  • Experience in both hotel and retail environment.

  • Knowledge of local artisan goods.

  • Knowledge of computerized systems, including hotel property management system and common office computerized programs such as Excel and Word.

  • Must be self-directed and able to perform on a high level without guidance.
