We are looking for Public Accountants in the early stages of their careers to support the Accounts Reconciliations hub located in the Ford of Mexico accounting office. This office support reconciliation for several countries in North and South America for Ford and Ford Credit Companies. This area is very dynamic and in most cases the base to start an accounting or finance career at Ford.

  • Public Accountants with bachelor's degree.
  • Good English proficiency to write, read, and speak at an intermedium level .
  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office 365 such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (SharePoint is desirable).
  • Basic knowledge of Data Analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx)
  • Basic knowledge of BLACKLINE/ SAP / ARIBA
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Teamwork oriented.

This position will ensure compliance with S-Ox, Internal Control, Finance Manuals, and other internal and external requirements and is key to succeed in the accuracy of Financial Statements for the Company.

To obtain knowledge of other positions in the accounting team, to serve as support and identify possible errors or improvements in the work areas.

The intention of the job is to analyze the assigned accounts from General Ledger on a monthly basis to reconcile them versus an expected balance provided by the operations during the expected deadlines. Analyze the unidentified or reconciling items to a potential correction of the entries in the following months and to support to keep the Ford of Mexico metrics at an adequate level and the Financial Information accurate for consolidating purposes.
