To support our growth strategy in Mexico, we are looking for a
Sourcing & Quoting Specialist
, a Solutionist, responsible for handling sourcing and quoting activities, coordinating supplier communication and ensuring smooth execution of customer and internal projects.

Responsibilities

  • Request, collect and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing, MOQs and favorable lead times.
  • Maintain and update ERP-system ensuring accurate records for pricing, MOQ, lead times and delivery terms.
  • Support supplier qualification and onboarding processes in collaboration with the quality department.
  • Analyze customers RFQs and technical drawings/specifications.
  • Prepare and submit accurate, complete, and timely quotes in line with company margin targets.
  • Work with the sales team to define optimal pricing strategies and quote validity periods.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, quality) to validate feasibility, availability, accurate cost adders and potential risks before submitting quotes.
  • Ensure all quotes are properly documented and tracked within the ERP and CRM systems.
  • Support development of sourcing and pricing tools to streamline the sourcing and quotation processes.
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance reviews.
  • Support sales with customers related technical questions.
  • Responsible for project coordination and implementation until samples are approved.
  • Reports to the Sales & Sourcing Manager.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain or similar experiences suitable for the position is required.

  • Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and structured project coordination approach.
  • Work in a team, especially multidisciplinary.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 package (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Excellent and driven negotiator.
  • Ambition to be part of an international highly engaged team with focus on growth.
  • Able to read technical drawings determining most suitable production process.
  • Experience in the fastener business is a plus.
  • Experience in supporting multi-functional projects in an international work environment with remote locations.
  • "Solutionist" with a high degree of self-management
