Steam Connect is looking for a skilled and dedicated 
Solar Photovoltaic Installer
to join our renewable energy team. The Solar Photovoltaic Installer will play a vital role in installing and maintaining solar energy systems, ensuring efficient installations that meet high-quality standards. This position requires technical experience, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

Important Immigration Requirements:

• A valid or active TN visa is required, or willingness to process it and cover visa expenses.

Responsibilities:

• Install solar panels on residential roofs, commercial buildings, and ground-mounted structures.
• Perform basic electrical connections following technical specifications and safety protocols.
• Assess installation sites to determine feasibility and reinforcement or repair needs.
• Safely handle specialized equipment and tools (multimeters, drills, etc.) during installation.
• Comply with safety standards and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Document installation activities through reports and photographs.

Technical Requirements:

• Intermediate English (able to understand technical instructions and communicate on-site).
• Previous experience in solar panel installation or technical assembly work.
• Knowledge of electricity and wiring.
• Experience with conduit piping and electrical panel assembly.
• Knowledge of batteries (preferred).
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to learn and apply new installation techniques.

Preferred Technical Background:

• Electrical Technician / Industrial Electricity Technician
• Renewable Energies Technician
• Electrical Installation Technician
• Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering (preferred)
