SFCC Full Stack Senior Developer

Position: SFCC Full Stack Senior Developer-Mexico

Experience: 4–5 Years

Location: Mexico, Monterrey

Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

The SFCC Full Stack Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining eCommerce applications built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFRA and PWA KIT). The role requires strong expertise in both backend (Controllers, Models, Jobs, APIs) and frontend (ISML, JavaScript, CSS,PWA KIT and ReactJS) development, along with integration experience using REST, SOAP, and third-party systems.

Key Responsibilities

SFCC Backend Development

  • Design, develop, and optimize SFRA/Headless Architecture.
  • Create scalable backend logic for product, pricing, promotions, checkout, order management, and custom business logic.
  • Implement and maintain Jobs, service frameworks, and integrations with external systems (ERP, OMS, Payment, Tax, CRM).
  • Develop custom cartridges, ensure compatibility with core cartridges, and manage cartridge path effectively.

SFCC Frontend Development

  • Build and enhance UI using ISML templates, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, PWA KIT.
  • Implement responsive, pixel-perfect UI components aligned with Figma/UX designs.
  • Customize and extend SFRA UI/PWA components, client-side scripts, and UX flows.

Integrations & API Development

  • Build and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations.
  • Work with third-party services like Payment gateways, Loyalty engines, Taxation, PIM, etc.
  • Create custom middleware integrations using SFCC services framework.

DevOps & Environment Management

  • Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and sandbox management.
  • Deploy code across QA, staging, and production environments.

Performance & Security

  • Optimize site performance (page speed, controller efficiency, cache strategies).
  • Ensure compliance with SFCC security guidelines, OWASP, PCI-DSS.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with UX, QA, PM, and Business teams to deliver high-quality releases.
  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architecture discussions.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud B2C (SFRA and PWA mandatory).
  • Proficiency in:
  • JavaScript
  • ISML, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, jQuery
  • JSON, XML, REST, SOAP APIs
  • SFCC OCAPI (Shop & Data)
  • SFCC Script (Server-Side JavaScript)
  • Job framework, Service framework
  • PWA KIT mandatory
  • Experience in integrating OMS, ERP, PIM (Akeneo), APM, Analytics, etc.
  • Knowledge of Page Designer, custom components, and SCAPI.
  • Experience with Headless Commerce or Composable Commerce

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Familiarity with TypeScript and modern JS frameworks (React/Vue).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce OMS.
  • Experience with SEO optimization and structured data.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ownership mindset and accountability for deliverables.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • SFCC Developer certification is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40, $60,000.00 per month
