Position Summary
Shop Lead will oversee daily production planning of the assigned facility to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Plans and organizes daily production planning.
  • Works directly with material handling, mounting, foam fill, and shipping to ensure production goals and objectives are met.
  • Complete understanding of production area.
  • Responsible for inventory control.
  • Responsible for overseeing safety, work instructions, and ISO 9001.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Foreign Travel may be required for training purposes.

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Good problem solving abilities.
  • Can troubleshoot issues and determine the cause of a plan's success or failure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of products and operations, specifically in commercial or industrial tires.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Two to three years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, English required.
  • Knowledge / Experience on supervising direct labor force.
  • This individual will have directly under him, the direct labor force assembling our product.
  • Knowledge / Experience on warehousing.
  • Knowledge / Experience on lean manufacturing techniques.
  • Knowledge on maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge on ISO and Quality systems.
