We are seeking a Sales Executive – Hospitality to drive new business development and support account growth for Amadeus Hospitality in Mexico.
In this client-facing role, you will partner with hotel groups, independent hotels, and hospitality stakeholders across Mexico to position and sell Amadeus's portfolio of hospitality technology solutions. Your focus will be on helping customers optimize distribution, revenue performance, digital presence, and guest experience through innovative, data-driven solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, consultative selling skills, and a solid understanding of the Mexican hospitality market and travel technology landscape.
In This Role You'll:
Demonstrate strong functional and industry knowledge of hospitality technology, including CRS, distribution, digital media, revenue management, and guest operations solutions.
Act as a trusted commercial advisor to customers, coordinating with internal teams to address complex business needs and deliver value-based solutions.
Understand key hospitality industry drivers in Mexico, leveraging financial and performance indicators to support effective sales strategies and recommendations.
Contribute to sales planning, pipeline development, and opportunity prioritization aligned with regional and business objectives.
Work independently within established sales plans, seeking guidance only in more complex commercial or solution design scenarios.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management, Marketing, Product, and Delivery teams to ensure successful sales engagements and customer outcomes.
Specific Accountabilities:
Sales Planning
Contribute to the sales strategy and pipeline development for the Mexican market, aligned with long-term business objectives.
Identify, qualify, and prioritize new business opportunities in collaboration with Account Management and regional teams.
Provide input on product and solution mix based on market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
Sales Engagement Strategy
Qualify opportunities in terms of solution fit, customer needs, and revenue potential.
Develop and take ownership of the sales engagement strategy, including account mapping, stakeholder identification, and pursuit planning.
Lead sales engagements from discovery through negotiation and contract closure.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to senior customer stakeholders.
Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and strategic thinking to drive sustainable revenue growth in the Mexican market.
About the Ideal Candidate:
Education: Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
7–10 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within hospitality or travel technology.
Proven experience managing complex sales cycles and building long-term customer relationships.
Prior experience working with hotels, hotel groups, or hospitality technology providers is required.
Languages: Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is required.
Strong understanding of commercial processes, contracts, and sales tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office; experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools is a plus.
Ability to travel within Mexico as required.
Ability to work in a hybrid working model.
Experience working within a global, matrix organization is highly desirable.
