Job purpose:

Maintain secure, reliable, and available databases to support the company's operations, ensuring data integrity, performance and scalability

Duties and responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor database servers (on-premise and cloud-based)
• Design, implement, and optimize databases according to business requirements
• Manage schemas, triggers, stored procedures, and access controls to ensure data security and consistency
• Maintain documentation of database architecture, configurations, and updates
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to support application integration and performance tuning
• Perform regular backups, recovery testing, and disaster recovery planning

Requirements:

Previous experience as DBA

Experience maintaining secure, reliable, and available databases

Proficiency with command line interfaces
