JOB PURPOSE
Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency, waste reduction, and process standardization throughout the plant through the implementation of Lean methodologies and effective strategic project management. Implement systems and provide coaching to develop a culture of continuous improvement with structured thinking at all levels of the organization.

JOB FUNTIONS

  • Identify, design, lead, and execute continuous improvement projects and opportunities for improvement focused on production, logistics, quality, and administrative processes using Lean tools.
  • Promote and facilitate the implementation of a Lean culture at all the levels of the organization (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, Six Sigma, among others).
  • Train and support work teams with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Measure and report KPIs related to productivity, quality, cycle times, and waste reduction.
  • Coordinate internal audits and follow-up on implemented Lean initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement through data analysis, on-site observation, and collaborative work with key areas.
  • Establish and monitor a portfolio of strategic projects aligned with the business objectives.
  • Encourage the participation of operational and administrative personnel on all improvement activities (quality circles, suggestions, Kaizen events).
  • Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Human Resources to ensure the sustainability of the implemented improvements.
  • Lead and ensure the implementation of savings projects, as well as the evaluation of the impact of the implemented initiatives.
  • Encourage and promote the implementation of standardized systems.
  • Present results to senior management and local leadership team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or University degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial engineering.
  • Desired a master's on Lean Manufacturing Management or similar.
  • 7 Years of experience in Continuous Improvement Lead and/or Process management.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification, Green Belt (Black Belt Desired)
  • Bilingual (90% English)
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or others).
  • Expertise in leading employee engagement teams.
  • Experience implementing lean systems or methodologies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage projects.
  • Must have advanced skills with Excel, Access, Minitab and PowerPoint.
