The Customs and Foreign Trade Analyst is responsible to support Customs and Foreign Trade Central Function with regards of general customs activities and administrative tasks for the Automotive business. Being a main contact with productive Plants, R&D plants and Trade Service Providers in order to ensure compliance.

Will be a contact for escalation from internal customers regarding complex customs topics that affect the business

The CFT Analyst will create an add value for everything related to government formalities and customs compliance. Will participate actively in the foreign trade projects, programs and certifications as well as internal audit processes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Customs and Foreign Trade / International Business or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Customs and Foreign Trade
  • Advanced English
  • Annex 22 of the Foreign Trade Rules
  • Knowledge of customs law and regulations
  • Experience in IMMEX/SECIIT is a plus/Annex 24
  • Tariff classification
  • Free trade agreements
  • Incoterms
  • Basic knowledge of foreign trade programs and certifications (CIVA/OEA)
  • Basic knowledge of VUCEM use
  • Knowledge of logistics processes desirable
  • Basic knowledge of the automotive industry (virtual operations / OEMs / CTM)
