Junior Mobile Developer (Android)

At
Solera
, we're looking for a
Junior Android Developer
who's eager to learn, grow, and build impactful mobile solutions . You'll work alongside experienced engineers, designers, and product teams to develop high-quality Android applications using modern technologies .

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining Android apps using
    Kotlin and/or Java
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI, QA)
  • Implement new features and help fix bugs
  • Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
  • Participate in code reviews and team learning sessions
  • Integrate REST APIs and third-party libraries
  • Test apps to ensure quality, performance, and reliability

Requirements

  • Basic experience with
    Android SDK
    and
    Android Studio
  • Knowledge of
    Kotlin or Java
  • Understanding of mobile fundamentals (Activities, Fragments, Layouts)
  • Familiarity with
    REST APIs & JSON
  • Basic Git knowledge
  • Strong desire to learn and grow

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to
    MVVM architecture
  • Experience with
    Firebase
  • UI/UX awareness
  • Personal, academic, or GitHub Android projects
