Freight Payment Analyst

What will you do?

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial processing, reporting, and reconciliation across North America (NAM) Region, enabling strong business partnering between Finance and Transportation Operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

· Manage Weekly CASS Load for all Mexico entities, ensuring all files are validated, accurately uploaded, and aligned with Tax, PO Budget, and mapping requirements.

· Own the Consolidation of PO Budget Reclassifications, ensuring entries are properly classified and aligned with financial reporting standards.

· Perform Monthly Accruals & financial reviews for multiple legal entities, including collaboration with controllers, accounting teams, transportation & AP for data validation.

· Prepare and Post Journal Entries, coordinating with cross-functional partners for information accuracy.

· Maintain & organize supporting documentation that will serve as supporting documentation for Manual journal entries and reporting.

· Ensure On-Time Delivery of all activities following Workday timelines

· Collaborate with Cross-functional & Regional Stakeholders, including Finance, Accounting, AP & Operations.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?

Technical Expertise

· Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial workflow tools.;

· Understanding of accounting concepts, such as journal entries, reclassifications, and month-end close activities.

· Budget preparation, financial reporting & consolidation.

· Ability to interpret and validate financial documentation and results

Analytical & Operational Skills

· High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to track discrepancies, validate data, and escalate issues when needed.

· Ability to work efficiently under tight month-end deadlines (WD-1 to WD+2).

Collaboration & Communication

· Comfortable partnering with controllers, accounting teams, and regional stakeholders.

· Clear, concise and effective communication skills.

Experience

· Background in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.

· Experience supporting multi-entity or multi-country operations is a plus.

This is primarily an individual contributor role, but highly collaborative with regional visibility.
