Main Responsabilities

Industrial Painting Processes

• Knowledge of coating systems (electrostatic, liquid, powder).
• Control of coating thickness, curing, and surface quality.

Regulations and Safety

• Familiarity with painting standards, OSHA.
• Risk management in classified areas.

Quality Control

• Use of inspection tools (thickness gauges, adhesion tests).
• Defect analysis and application of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).

Equipment Management and Maintenance

• Operation and calibration of spray booths, ovens, and ventilation systems.
• Preventive maintenance planning.

Materials Management

• Selection and handling of paints, solvents, and chemicals.
• Inventory control and waste reduction.
• Documentation and Audits
• Preparation of procedures, instructions, and reports.
• Conducting internal and external audits.

What Skills You Need

• Plans, coordinates, and performs manufacturing engineering work for a project or process of paint. Operates in a team environment.
• Contribute to the design of engineering solutions to support the development and validation of cost reduction
• Help others get the most out of knowledge management systems by offering support and advice.
• Carry out a range of product development and engineering activities. Use established systems to analyze customer needs and define and deliver products.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (6 months to 3 years)

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
