About Role:
We are seeking a skilled
Production & Material Controller
to support our growing manufacturing operations in
Rosarito, Mexico
. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring production plans align with customer demand, optimizing work orders, and coordinating material supply to achieve on-time delivery and production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer demand and develop accurate production plans.
- Create, review, and manage work orders, ensuring timely execution and efficiency.
- Coordinate production lines, shifts, and schedules to maximize productivity.
- Monitor material supply status and address shortages to minimize delays.
- Support MES data maintenance and engineering changes in work orders.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, quality, and SCM teams to achieve production targets.
- Align with sales on capacity, materials, and resource planning.
- Manage communication with logistics, import/export, overseas MC, and local buyer teams to ensure timely material delivery.
- Identify and resolve production or material planning issues proactively.
- Report major supply risks to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with
5+ years of experience
in production planning or material control in the
electronics manufacturing sector
. - Experience in
Maquiladora operations
is a strong plus. - Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in English (read, write, speak, listen) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Oracle/ERP system experience is preferred.
