The Senior Inventory Control Manager is responsible for leading, designing, and executing inventory control and optimization strategies across the organization. This role oversees processes related to receiving, storing, rotating, and distributing materials, ensuring record accuracy, proper product availability, and compliance with operational standards.

The position focuses on improving supply chain efficiency through advanced data analysis, system implementation, and close coordination with departments such as purchasing, logistics, production, and finance. Additionally, the Senior Manager develops performance metrics, leads physical and system audits, and drives cost-reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.

  • Oversee and improve inventory control processes across warehouses and distribution centers.

  • Implement systems and tools (WMS, ERP, KPI dashboards) to ensure accuracy and traceability.

  • Lead cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits, identifying variances and root causes.

  • Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and production to align material planning.

  • Analyze data and prepare strategic reports to support decision-making.

  • Develop policies, procedures, and standards for inventory handling.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the inventory control team.

  • Drive continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.

Professional Profile

A Senior Inventory Control Manager

  • 7–10+ years of experience in inventory control or supply chain management.

  • A degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience managing KPIs, audits, and process optimization.

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (preferred).
