Financial Analyst

The American School Foundation is the most important American School in Mexico, and is looking for a Financial Analyst who will be in charge of the following activities:

Review and register the investment expenses in SAP of the construction company, ensuring the providers of the construction company include all the information required by the government (SIROC, IMSS, reports).

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Mandatory)
• Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

• Two years of experience in accounting and supervising external providers.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel), Accounting Systems (preferably SAP), and reconciliations.

Revises and records accounts payable, including:

• Payment to providers and vouchers, which comply with the internal control policies and fiscal requirements.
• Generates and schedules payments to suppliers
• Weekly revision and purging or compensation of accounts payable to construction companies.
• Revises weekly the information of third-party construction provider to comply with government regulations.
• Prepares monthly ledger entries.
• Process advance payments, and review the accounting registry and the details of the expenses with the construction company.
• Keeps the providers portal updated for any possible revision from the different governmental agents (IMSS, Infonavit, SAT etc).
• Assist the Director of Finance with administrative tasks
