What does a Senior Animator/Designer do at Hogarth? 

As the Senior Animator/Designer, you'll be an essential part of our dynamic creative teams, contributing your expertise to craft captivating assets and breathe life into them, delivering top-notch, innovative content. We're seeking a creative individual with a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for collaboration. While you'll thrive in a team environment, you'll also feel confident working autonomously. Dive into every stage of the creative process, from ideation to delivery, and play a pivotal role in bringing our visions to life. You will be working in a production studio supporting a client based in the United States with opportunities for exposure and growth in a large advertising network. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and Design a variety of assets using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects 
• Adapt creative assets within Brand Guidelines within tight deadlines 
• Editing a variety of projects including: social videos, case studies, pitch videos, web content, animatics, broadcast projects, adaptation work, etc. 
• Collaborating closely with creatives to develop existing assets/deliverables 
• Assist in the development efficient workflows 
• Collaborating with Producers, Project Managers, and Client teams on scheduling needs and understanding the timelines on projects 
• Be an integral member of our post-production team, fostering a collaborative environment with a team-player mindset 
• Create visually stunning motion graphics across various mediums, including online advertising, retail environments, and out-of-home displays 
• Demonstrate proficiency in VFX work and motion graphics design, particularly in compositing techniques 
• Edit video footage and integrate visual effects to enhance storytelling 
• Engage in brainstorming sessions to offer fresh design perspectives and innovative ideas 
• Provide creative solutions to overcome challenges encountered during projects 
• Stay updated on the latest graphic and motion design techniques 
• Drive innovation and evolution within the team's work, workflow, and capabilities 
• Mentor junior designers, nurturing their growth and development within the team 
• Contribute original creative concepts and viewpoints to project discussions 
• Step into a VFX supervisor role when project requirements dictate 
• Comprehensive knowledge of workflows & prep for audio, color, Flame, and After Effects sessions. 
• 3D Design skills if able to contribute working in Cinema4D and Keyshot 

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in motion graphics and interactive design 
• Impressive portfolio/reel demonstrating diverse talents and capabilities 
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, and others 
• Experience in 3D design and animation, with proficiency in software such as Cinema 4D 
• Exceptional typographic knowledge and design sensibilities 
• Possesses a strong creative eye with meticulous attention to detail 
• Effective communicator of creative and technical concepts 
• Demonstrates strong multitasking and prioritization skills 
• Thrives in deadline-driven environments 
• Strong English communication skills able to speak with clients, correspond on emails, and work with English content for Global brands 
• Experience with Global brands as a creative
