The Opportunity:
As an Application Virtualization Senior Engineer, you will be designing and implementing a scalable Application Virtualization platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the platform architecture roadmap while ensuring environment provisioning and performance planning.

Responsibilities :

• Design and implement a scalable, reliable Application Virtualization platform, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Serve as a technical expert for Citrix Cloud DaaS administration, operations, and all application environment-related elements.
• Contribute to the platform architecture roadmap in partnership with the platform owner, product manager, and architecture leads.
• Work with infrastructure, network, and security teams to provision environments, configure services, and perform capacity and performance planning.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, recommending system enhancements to improve troubleshooting and minimize manual processes.
• Collaborate with SCCM or similar deployment tools to package, distribute, and maintain application installations seamlessly.
• Optimize application packages for efficient deployment and effective performance in Citrix virtualized environments.
• Conduct Level 3 platform support, maintenance, and issue resolution activities.
• Develop and maintain application documentation aligned with Takeda Quality Systems and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards.
• Mentor and guide team members, fostering technical growth and a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives.

Skills and Qualifications:
Required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience across IT disciplines, including systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, and system integration.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and managing Citrix environments in on-premise and cloud settings.
• 3+ years of experience with application packaging techniques for virtualized environments and system compatibility testing.
• Proficiency with tools like SCCM, Intune, or similar for application deployment and configuration.
• Experience in creating and troubleshooting MSI packages, installers, and custom configurations for virtualized applications.
• Expert hands-on knowledge of PowerShell or Bash scripting for automating tasks related to application packaging and deployment.
• Expertise with Citrix technologies, including NetScaler, Gateway service, Director tool, and App Streaming.
• Extensive hands-on experience operating and maintaining Citrix infrastructure, such as License Server, StoreFront, Delivery Controller, Citrix Director, and VDA Machines.
• Understanding of MCS, PVS, and Server Build technologies.
• Good operating system-level debugging skills.
• Familiarity with cloud technology environments.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a business environment.

Preference

• Extensive experience with DevOps practices, emphasizing automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Terraform to streamline application delivery and infrastructure management.
• Proficient in leveraging GitHub for version control and collaborative development. This includes managing repositories, implementing branching strategies, performing code reviews, and utilizing GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong preference for candidates pursuing or holding Cloud Certifications, showcasing expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructures.
