Purpose

We are seeking for a IT Associate who will support our office and warehouse end-users, from a technology standpoint. You may also work on various other technology projects as assigned by senior staff. You would be the primary I.T. resource at our Mexico location, reporting to the I.T. Director in New Jersey, but with a dotted line to the Operations Manager in Mexico.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Virtually meet with members of the I.T. team to discuss project goals and general requirements.

  2. Setup new PC's and Warehouse Mobile Devices:

  3. Coordinate purchase of new equipment via I.T. staff in NJ

  4. Creation of user accounts via Exchange ECP and Active Directory
  5. Setup new PC's upon delivery, for deliver to users

Provide Tier I and II End-User I.T. Support for office and warehouse users relating to:

  • Printers, toners, print heads, drums and label software.
  • Microsoft Windows 11
  • Honeywell CK65 Android handheld scanners
  • Office 2021 & Microsoft 365
  • 3D/CAD installation/configuration
  • Anti-Virus/Phishing & Cybersecurity tools
  • VPN's/Remote Desktop
  • WiFi troubleshooting and documenting trouble spots
  • Door Access Management and Badge Printing
  • Video Surveillance troubleshooting
  • The corporate ERP system (when unsure of issue or solution, open support tickets with Epicor and follow-through on solution)
  • Monitor network security logs

Perform other tasks or projects, as assigned by I.T. Director or senior I.T. Staff

Submit Weekly Status reports and communicate with the I.T. team as needed

You would need to meet the following requirements:

  • Degree in IT or equivalent
  • 1-3 years' experience in a similar position
  • Problem solving and communication skills
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Strong Pluses:

  1. Must have a valid passport and be willing to travel to the United States for training or short-term assignments (e.g., 2–3 weeks).
  2. CompTIA Network+ and Security+ Certifications
  3. Familiarity with network administration practices (IP Addressing, IP Subnets, VLANs, client monitoring, etc)
  4. Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2022
  5. Knowledge or experience with Cybersecurity best practices
  6. Experience with warehouse management/distribution and ERP systems
