Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled AWS Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and robust cloud-native applications on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate existing on-premise applications to the cloud and build new microservices from the ground up.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in software engineering, a deep understanding of core AWS services, and a passion for automation and serverless architecture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Development:
    Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for cloud-native applications using [Preferred Language: e.g., Python, Java, ].
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
  • Serverless Architecture:
    Implement serverless applications using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
  • CI/CD Pipelines:
    Design and implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Database Management:
    Manage and optimize cloud databases, including Amazon RDS (Relational) and DynamoDB (NoSQL).
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
    Utilize Amazon CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail to monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
  • Security:
    Implement security best practices, including IAM roles/policies, encryption (KMS), and VPC configurations to ensure data privacy and compliance.
  • Optimization:
    Continuously analyze cloud costs and performance to optimize resource utilization.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience:
    [X] years of experience in software development, with at least [X] years specifically working within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Programming Skills:
    Proficiency in at least one modern programming language ([Python / Java / C# / / Go]).
  • Core AWS Services:
    Deep understanding of EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, and IAM.
  • Containerization:
    Experience with Docker and container orchestration services like Amazon ECS or Kubernetes (EKS).
  • DevOps Mindset:
    Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and version control systems (Git).
  • API Development:
    Strong experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)

  • Certification:
    AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate.
  • Microservices:
    Experience breaking down monolithic applications into microservices.
  • Messaging:
    Experience with event-driven architecture using SNS, SQS, or Kinesis.
  • Front-End Knowledge:
    Basic understanding of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.
