This role will manage the process engineering team to cover the activities within the area.

In charge of the activities of 5 engineers in different processes across the facility and assure that we maintain the efficiency of our process. It is needed to have knowledge of line balancing, time sheet validation, visual aids and procedures development according to global procuedures, always looking for a better and ergonomic process, with resources optimization and assure to accomplish the main KPI's of the business.

This role supervise the process that directly impact our efficiency and Quality metrics (TPY) performance and coordinates Process Technicians, Line Trainers and Process Certifiers (Trainers).

The responsibilities also include:

Leadership and Coordination
: Daily meetings with leaders and teams to ensure project alignment and timely follow-ups. Local and Global coordination to ensure successful project implementation.

Oversight of key projects such as:

  • Support from current production and NPI products to the process.
  • Lobsheet development
  • PFMEA development
  • Process balancing and re-balancing
  • Layout engineering development
  • Capacity Calculation
  • ESOP Project / Visual aids and procedures development
  • Training MFG team.
  • McKinsey/Lighthouse initiatives development.
  • Support the MFG process
  • Tooling development (Fixtures, carts, tables, etc)
  • Maintain its own process controlled, clean and neat.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering
  • Familiarity with process control
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
