Job objectives: Responsible for preparing export and import documents for the company, keeping track of departmental and purchasing expenses. Must prepare quotes and handle purchases. The main function is to assist the Import and Export Department.
Required knowledge or skills: Knowledge of goods clearance (customs procedures, tariff classification, USMCA) Proficiency in Office tools - Proficiency in Annex 24 Delta - Customer service orientation
Main functions of the position:
- Preparation of A1-AF-IN imports and RT-A1 exports.
- Transportation coordination.
- Coordination with customs agency.
- Administration and closure of virtual accounts.
- Review and closure of consolidated customs declarations.
- Administration and control of Annex 24.
- Registration of BOM in Annex 24.
- PROSEC, Rule 8.
- Knowledge of C-TPAT program
- Registration of raw materials and finished products
- Fixed asset administration and control
- Basic knowledge of VAT & IEPS certification.
- Making local purchases for internal departments.
- Quoting and searching for the best purchase option
- Filing purchase orders and invoices.
- Contributing to cost reduction.
