Job Summary:
The Financial Reporting Lead is responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. The Financial Reporting Lead will manage the financial reporting process, coordinate audits, and ensure that the company's financial statements reflect its financial position accurately. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

· Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

· Ensure compliance with GAAP or IFRS.

Regulatory Compliance:

· Ensure financial reports comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

· Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implement necessary changes in financial reporting processes.

Internal Controls:

· Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting.

· Ensure that financial reporting processes are efficient and that controls are operating effectively.

Audit Coordination:

· Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits, ensuring all audit requirements are met.

· Prepare audit schedules and provide necessary documentation to auditors.

Financial Analysis:

· Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.

· Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Reporting Systems Management:

· Manage and maintain financial reporting systems to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.

· Implement improvements to financial reporting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Technical and Professional Skills:

· Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting.

· Experience with financial reporting systems and tools.

· Proficiency in business intelligence and data analytics platforms.

Qualifications:
