We are seeking a
Tax Manager
for a leading global company.

You will be the strategic head of the tax function in Mexico, ensuring strict regulatory compliance and the optimization of the tax burden within a dynamic international environment. Your role will be fundamental for risk mitigation and global financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and ensure the correct determination, reconciliation, and filing of all federal and local taxes (provisional payments, monthly, and annual returns) for the Mexican entities.
  • Lead the process for requests for refunds and offsetting of favorable balances for VAT and other taxes, efficiently managing the interaction with the SAT (Mexican Tax Administration Service).
  • Serve as the main point of contact and be responsible for addressing and coordinating the response to audits and requirements from the tax authority (SAT) and external auditors.
  • Manage compliance with Transfer Pricing regulations, coordinating the annual study for intercompany transactions (inventory purchases, royalties, services).
  • Proactively monitor reforms and changes in Mexican tax legislation, analyzing their impact and developing adaptation strategies.
  • Prepare and ensure the accuracy of the
    "Tax Reporting Package"
    for the foreign parent company, including the calculation of Deferred Tax in accordance with international standards (IFRS/US GAAP).
  • Lead initiatives for automation and process improvement in the tax area, including optimizing the use of the ERP (such as SAP).

Profile Requirements:

  • Academic Background:
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Public Accounting (Titulado - Must hold a professional degree/license).
  • Professional Experience:
    Minimum of 8 to 10 years of proven experience in Tax, including experience leading teams.
  • Experience in a Big Four firm or larger accounting/consulting firms.
  • Advanced Conversational English Proficiency.
  • Systems:
    Experience and knowledge of SAP (Having participated in implementations is desirable).
  • Key Competencies:
