Overview
The Project Manager provides strategic leadership and direction to project teams composed of both business and IT professionals. This role focuses on planning and delivering small to medium-sized solutions and larger, more complex Projects. An essential aspect of this position is mentoring junior project managers to enhance their skills and capabilities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

  • Confirm project scope and budget with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder approvals.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans and implementation schedules aligned with PMBOK standards.
  • Conduct internal and vendor inquiries to ensure technology solutions meet business needs.
  • Provide regular status reports, including milestones, risks, and issues, to stakeholders and sponsors.
  • Identify potential risks and implement proactive solutions.
  • Act as the escalation point for project risks and issues.
  • Offer leadership and guidance to achieve team objectives.
  • Independently manage projects and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Recommend and deliver training sessions.
  • Oversee change control processes and ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with IT and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science business studies or related discipline preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
