Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Android Developer to spearhead the design, development, and innovation of sophisticated mobile applications for our clients. This role is centered on architecting and building reliable, scalable, and high-performance Android solutions that deliver outstanding user experiences. We are specifically looking for talented professionals in Mexico who are open to relocating to the United States for this role. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, to conceptualize, design, and launch new features.
• Produce clean, scalable, and efficient code in line with industry best practices and internal coding standards.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, fix bugs, and optimize application performance.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and foster a collaborative environment of technical growth.
• Guarantee the performance, quality, and responsiveness of all applications.
• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Android development.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4+ years of professional experience in Android application development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken) for collaboration on U.S.-based projects.
• Expertise in Kotlin and a strong command of the Android SDK.
• Deep experience with Android Jetpack components (e.g., Room, LiveData, ViewModel, Compose).
• Proficiency in consuming RESTful APIs to connect Android applications with back-end services.
• Strong understanding of Google's Material Design principles and interface guidelines.
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization using tools like Android Profiler.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Proficient with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Java for Android development.
• A portfolio including one or more published applications on the Google Play Store.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for mobile applications.
• Contributions to open-source Android projects.
• Previous experience working with U.S.-based companies.

Interview Process:

• Initial Screening - Phone Call
• A technical interview will be scheduled with a Subject Matter Expert, which will feature a live coding challenge.
• A follow-up meeting will be arranged with your Recruiter to discuss the technical interview results and delve deeper into the opportunity.
• Final Round with Recruiting Director
• Upon successful completion of all stages, we will initiate your TN Visa application process.
