ABOUT SAINT LAURENT
Founded in 1961, Yves Saint Laurent was the first couture house to introduce the concept of luxury prêt-à-porter in a 1966 collection called 'Rive Gauche', synonymous with youth and freedom. This shift represented a first critical step in the modernization of fashion and revolutionized the socio- cultural landscape.
In 1999, the luxury goods division of the Kering Group acquired Yves Saint Laurent and, under the creative direction of Anthony Vaccarello since April 2016, continues toposition the house at the summit of the luxury universe.
Today, Saint Laurent collections include women's and men's ready-to-wear, shoes, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry, scarves, ties and eyewear.
We are currently seeking a LATAM Regional Visual Manager who will report to Senior Director of Visual Merchandising as part of our dynamic team in Mexico City.
ROLE
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Visual Merchandising, you will also oversee visual merchandising for LATAM stores to maximize brand equity and brand image of Saint Laurent.
MISSION
- Work closely with merchandising, store managers, and Country Managers to complete walk-throughs to improve overall business
- Continuously increase sell-out & communicate regularly with the visual team in New York and Paris
- Provide stores with high level of visual merchandising and brand focused styling
- Maintain the vision of the creative director for each season, maintain the guidelines that are created for that season, having balance for image and commercial
- Oversee that equipment is all up-to-date / standard and that the stores are perfectly clean, including windows, floors
- Maximize the customer experience by creating an appealing visual presentation that represents the brand
- Be aware of visual merchandising of our competitors & setup for sales launches and press events
- Provide visual merchandising related training to store staffs and store visual merchandisers
PROFILE
- Precision, strong time management and organizational skills
- Has to have a strong sense vision
- Proficiency in Photoshop, PowerPoint, excel
- Experience with photography preferred
- High sensitivity on aesthetics and products
- Minimum of 6 years directly relevant work experience
- Bachelor's Degree, retail experience & flexibility to travel
