This position is responsible for, but not limited to, supporting site CIP manager to establish and coordinate all aspects of manufacturing Excellence to position the company and obtain World Class Manufacturing capabilities to ensure total customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Follow global CIP strategy to drive continuous waste elimination in site as site CIP expert and pioneer.
· Establish/maintain product routings in the manufacturing information system and develop product flow charts process.
· Develop production rates using time studies or labor reporting analysis.
· Conduct efficiency studies to verify production performance is adhering to set standards.
· Design and balance production systems for optimum performance to insure output is at required production capacities.
· Perform cost analysis for new and revised products.
· Audit cost periodically on existing products and actively participate in cost reduction projects.
· Complete payback analysis for capital equipment requests.
· Maintain layouts of plant facilities to optimize utilization and/or production flow.
· Conduct analysis of human factors ergonomically relative to all job functions.
· Lead lean kaizen, GB or BB project directly to deploy continuous improvement in site;
· Coordinate and follow up DL and engineers kaizen activities to achieve the positive business results;
· Special Projects as requested
· Adheres to quality, safety, health and environmental systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS / WORK SKILLS
· Personal computer skills such as MICROSOFT OFFICE and relational database.
· Excellent communication skills
· Ability to work well in a Team environment
· Demonstrated understanding of new product development processes and work flow
· Lean & Six Sigma Expert: Minimum Certified Green Belt working toward Black Belt certification.
· Good knowledge of Industrial Engineering;
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering field
· 5 years of experience
