Role Overview

Adsocial is working alongside a global media publication to relaunch its digital content and digital media channels in the United States and Mexico.

For this job, we are seeking a Senior Editor to lead and scale the brand's digital content operations across multiple high-growth categories and platforms.

This is a senior leadership role for a seasoned digital media executive with deep editorial judgment, operational discipline, and a strong understanding of modern content ecosystems.

This role will oversee digital category channels — including Crypto, Gaming, Fitness, Health, Fashion, and Finance — as well as act as a key editorial leader for the Español media channel.

The Senior Editor will be responsible not only for what we publish, but how we operate: managing teams, setting standards, enforcing brand voice, scaling output, and ensuring content excellence across web and social platforms, in English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial Leadership & Strategy

• Own and execute the editorial strategy for brand's digital category channels and español channels.

• Define content pillars, tone, quality standards, and editorial guidelines across all verticals.

• Ensure all content aligns with brand's DNA: bold, aspirational, sophisticated, and culturally relevant.

• Balance editorial integrity with performance-driven content goals (traffic, engagement, growth).

Content Operations & Execution

• Oversee end-to-end content production for web and social platforms.

• Manage publishing calendars, workflows, and deadlines across multiple teams and verticals.

• Ensure consistent, high-quality output at scale without sacrificing editorial standards.

• Collaborate with leadership on long-term content planning and growth initiatives.

Team Management

• Lead and manage a multidisciplinary content team, including:

• Copywriters

• Social Media Editors

• Graphic Designers

• Video Editors

• Journalists / Contributors (as needed)

• Hire, onboard, mentor, and evaluate editorial talent.

• Establish clear roles, KPIs, and accountability across the team.

• Foster a culture of excellence, speed, creativity, and ownership.

Bilingual Content Oversight

• Oversee content production in English and Spanish.

• Ensure cultural relevance, linguistic accuracy, and editorial consistency across markets.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with social, video, design, growth, and commercial teams.

• Align editorial initiatives with audience growth, monetization, and brand partnerships.

• Support sponsored and branded content initiatives while maintaining editorial credibility.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of experience in digital publishing, media, or editorial leadership.

• Proven experience running content operations at scale for a major digital media brand.

• Strong background in digital-first publishing (web, social, video).

• Experience managing cross-functional creative teams.

• Deep understanding of audience-driven content and modern media consumption.

• Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

• Strong editorial judgment and ability to maintain brand voice across diverse categories.

• Experience working with analytics, performance metrics, and content optimization is a plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• A seasoned media executive who has "seen it all" and knows how to build sustainable content systems.

• Equally comfortable with high-level strategy and hands-on execution.

• Strong leader who can inspire creatives while enforcing structure and discipline.

• Culturally aware, digitally native, and tuned into global trends in media, culture, and business.

• Passion for lifestyle, culture, and the categories that the brand represents.

Why Join this project?

• Lead the next phase of growth for an iconic global media brand.

• Build and shape category-defining digital channels from the ground up.

• High-impact leadership role with real ownership and autonomy.

• Competitive compensation and flexible hybrid work model.

• Opportunity to influence culture, conversation, and digital media at scale.
