The Project Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring full compliance of the company's projects with their financing agreements, managing project cash flows, monitoring financial covenants, and coordinating with lenders, investors, and key stakeholders.

This position combines strategic and operational responsibilities, integrating financial modeling, contractual compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to safeguard project financial performance and optimize capital structures.

Key Responsabilities

  • Ensure compliance with financial covenants and reporting requirements defined in project financing contracts.
  • Monitor the operational and financial performance of projects to ensure alignment with approved financial models.
  • Manage project accounts, including cash flow, budgets, and debt service.
  • Prepare materials and reports for lenders, investors, and external auditors.
  • Develop, maintain, and perform sensitivity analyses on financial models.
  • Support the negotiation and execution of financing documents, financial closings, and waiver/consent processes.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal areas (Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations) and external stakeholders.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and analyses to support executive-level decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (degree required).
  • 5-7 years of experience in
    Project Finance

    development banking
    .
  • Strong knowledge of financial modeling, project financing structures, and trust management (administration, guarantee, payment source).
  • Advanced English proficiency (C2 Proficiency or equivalent).
  • Advanced skills in
    MS Office

    data rooms (Intralinks, Datasite)
    , and collaboration tools.
  • Desirable: knowledge of
    Power BI
    ,
    Tableau
    ,
    VBA
    , or
    basic Python
    .
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, results orientation, and professional integrity.
