About The Role
As a Senior Manager, Commodity Management & Sourcing (Professional Services), you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier performance across key categories including HR, EHS, Engineering, Legal Services, and Marketing. Your leadership will empower cross-functional teams, drive operational excellence, and deliver measurable business impact. This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing high-performing teams and shaping sourcing strategies that support Carrier's global success.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing strategic leadership and oversight for assigned commodities to maximize business value
• Leading and mentoring cross-functional sourcing teams to achieve operational and financial goals
• Conducting operational and spend analysis, and executing annual sourcing strategies
• Driving supplier negotiations, performance management, and operational support
• Awarding contracts within spending limits and identifying new qualified sources of supply
• Partnering with internal stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and improve strategies
• Analyzing supplier operations to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery performance
• Developing strategic plans for commodities or key suppliers
• Managing relationships with one or more strategic accounts within assigned commodities
• Leading the sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature
• Ensuring supplier performance meets delivery, quality, and cost expectations

As a Minimum You Must Have

• Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of experience in global commodity management or business
• Proven experience in Professional Services categories including HR, EHS, Engineering, Legal Services, and Marketing
• Strong communication skills and business acumen
• Proven ability to lead and develop cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated success in influencing global stakeholders and driving results

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• MBA or advanced degree
• Consultancy and services procurement experience
• Experience resolving complex problems with both tangible and intangible variables
