About the Role

As an Air Specialist II, you will be entrusted with managing day-to-day air freight operations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Your role will be crucial in supporting the operational excellence within the Air Operations department, contributing to problem-solving, and enhancing overall service quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor air freight shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining compliance with customs and aviation regulations.
  • Collaborate regularly with airlines, ground handling agents, customs brokers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless cargo movement.
  • Handle documentation accurately, including airway bills, export/import paperwork, and clearance forms to avoid delays and maintain data integrity.
  • Identify and troubleshoot operational issues proactively, providing effective solutions and escalating when necessary to maintain workflow continuity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and participating in training and development activities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, carrier capacities, and regulatory changes affecting air logistics.
  • Adhere strictly to company security protocols and safety standards to safeguard personnel, cargo, and information.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in air freight operations, logistics, or a related field, preferably within a multinational environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and interact professionally with diverse teams and clients.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
  • Proficiency in relevant logistics software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of air cargo regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English to communicate effectively in a global network.
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset with a strong focus on teamwork and personal integrity.
