Job Purpose

El Vendor Marketing Manager - Cisco LAC será responsable de liderar la estrategia y ejecución de marketing regional para Cisco, alineando los objetivos del vendor con las prioridades de negocio del distribuidor. Este rol combina pensamiento estratégico y ejecución táctica, con ownership sobre planes trimestrales, administración de fondos regionales y liderazgo de equipos, asegurando impacto directo en generación de demanda, posicionamiento de marca y crecimiento del negocio en la región.

Key Responsibilities

Estrategia y Planeación

  • Definir y ejecutar planes estratégicos trimestrales de marketing para Cisco a nivel regional (LAC), alineados a objetivos comerciales y de negocio.
  • Desarrollar estrategias de marketing y negocio en conjunto con Cisco y equipos internos (ventas, vendors, regional stakeholders).
  • Administrar y optimizar fondos regionales de marketing (MDF), asegurando su correcta asignación, ejecución y seguimiento.

Ejecución y Marketing Táctico

  • Liderar la ejecución de campañas regionales y locales, incluyendo:
  • campañas digitales
  • propuestas de video y podcast
  • activaciones con partners y canal
  • Impulsar el uso de herramientas digitales y de inteligencia artificial para mejorar la eficiencia y alcance de las campañas.
  • Coordinar y gestionar agencias, proveedores externos y partners autorizados para la ejecución de materiales y campañas (el rol no realiza diseño gráfico).

Liderazgo y Gestión de Equipos

  • Liderar y desarrollar equipos de marketing regionales, asegurando alineación, ejecución efectiva y cumplimiento de objetivos.
  • Actuar como punto de referencia y coordinación entre equipos locales, regionales y globales.

Relación con Vendor y Comunicación Regional

  • Ser el principal punto de contacto de marketing para Cisco en la región LAC.
  • Participar activamente en reuniones, presentaciones y foros regionales e internacionales, representando la estrategia y resultados de marketing.
  • Adaptar mensajes, campañas y enfoques a las distintas realidades e idiosincrasias culturales de los países de Latinoamérica.

Required Experience & Profile

Experiencia

  • Experiencia comprobada en marketing, estrategia de negocio y vendor management, idealmente en empresas de distribución de tecnología.
  • Experiencia previa liderando equipos y gestionando iniciativas regionales.
  • Conocimiento profundo del ecosistema de distribución: vendor, mayorista, partner, canal y end user (requisito no negociable).
  • Experiencia trabajando con vendors tecnológicos globales, preferentemente Cisco.

Formación Académica

  • Licenciatura en Marketing, Administración, Negocios Internacionales, Comunicación, Publicidad, Diseño o carreras afines.

Idiomas

  • Inglés avanzado / conversacional (indispensable): el rol requiere presentaciones y comunicación constante con equipos internacionales.
