Responsibilities:

Current Production Responsabilities:

  • Established the production standard methods for current process according to the process floe diagram and control plan, integrating the 4M's (Material, Machine, Method and Main).
  • Supports the training processes to achieve the training schedule according to the established standard.
  • Develops and maintains updated the necessary documents to establish the production standard (SOP, procedures, Forms, etc.).
  • Assist the production department to solve the process issues that effect the main KPI in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) by evaluating the 4M's + 2M's.
  • Confirms that the BOM  is met and submit periodic recommendations and/or changes of is needed to keep updated the material consumption.
  • Established and/or participates in continuous improvement projects (Kaisen, Lean system, VPS, projects, 6 sigma, etc).
  • Searches and investigate the waste's cause on all process production and/or phases in order to develop actions to reduce or eliminate them.
  • Is responsible for the initial issuance of the PFMEA.
  • Coordinates updating the PFMEA according to the revision and update schedule to improve the process performance.

Qualifications:
  • Chemical Engineer, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical engineering or similar.
  • 3 or more years experience on the automotive manufacturing processes, preferably in chemical industry or rubber molding. Assembly processes and automated stations, programing of PLC, Robots or Cobots.
  • Fluent English
