Generative AI Data Scientist

Fulltime

Location: Monterrey or Mexico City (Remote but it can be required to assit just ocasionally to the office)

Language: English fluent

We are seeking an exceptional Generative AI Data Scientist having 5+ years of combined experience in Analytics, Science and Gen AI.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize solutions based on traditional machine learning as well as Gen AI that has a strong emphasis on integrating cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Agentic AI expertise:

Utilize cloud services and platforms to design, develop, and deploy agentic AI solutions that seamlessly integrate with these technologies.

Knowledge of agnostic frameworks such as LangGraph is required.

Prompt Engineering:

Utilize best practices in designing prompts based on business case.

Ability to optimize context and get boost accuracy of pre-trained models.

Data Preparation and Feature Engineering:

Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality data preprocessing and feature engineering.

Evaluation and Monitoring:

Develop and implement robust evaluation frameworks to assess the quality and effectiveness of generative AI models and establish comprehensive monitoring systems.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate generative AI solutions into real-world applications and products.

Documentation:

Create detailed documentation for models, methodologies, and best practices. Lead by example and inspire others through your expertise.

Research and Innovation:

Stay updated with the latest advancements in generative AI, machine learning, Azure, and OpenAI, and contribute to groundbreaking research and development efforts.

Problem Solving:

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges that generative AI can address and propose innovative solutions accordingly.

Qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field with a strong emphasis on generative AI.
• In-depth knowledge about advanced analytics and data science Proven experience in architecting, developing, deploying Agentic AI solutions, and wrapping solutions within an API.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python
• Strong knowledge of traditional machine learning such as natural language processing (NLP), deep learning and statistical modeling
• Working knowledge about Infrastructure engineering and IaC (e.g. terraform)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges within cloud ecosystems.
• 3+ years of experience at a client-facing tech role Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a cross-functional team and effectively communicate with technical teams.
• A track record of successful projects and contributions to the field of generative AI.
